2022 in Photos

2022 was a whirlwind of a year full of lots of plants, animals and people! We also started our Water Wise Plant Packs & Seed Mixes in partnership with the Bitter Root Water Forum AND native plant design and consulting services.

Below are some of our favorite pics from 2022. Obviously, they can't all make the cut but it gives you an idea of our day to day process!

January - March

Sowing, pot ups and the beginning of consulting work.....

April - August

The height of the season! This is always a fast-paced, fun and challenging time of the year at the nursery. Everything is going on all at once - production and consulting continue with the added *excitement* of shipping.

We also visited our good friends at Wildlife Habitat Nursery in Potlatch, ID. And I can't forget that we got a second shipping container and donated seeds to our favorite local book store Chapter One Book Store for a gardening event!

And, of course, our annual Mother's Day pop-up Love Your Mother in partnership with Two Poppies Apothecary.

We visited sites our plants that have been installed in Missoula and outside Dillon, we worked on small to large installations, we met toads and worms and we got to see some of our favorite plants out in the wild. And maybe the most exciting thing... we got flower beds around the office and new PINK pallet jack! #girlsruntheworld

September to December

This is always the time of year I get lazy with photos.... it's hot, we're overworked and then it's cold and we're shipping over 100,000 plants (not an exaggeration!)

We rescued a hummingbird who got caught in the nursery and are happy to report that after some rest, and sugar water, it flew away in tip top shape.

We finally got our act together on getting some logo wear! So now you can rep your favorite plant nursery all year long!

Thanks for following our journey and your support! We couldn't do this work without our incredible staff and the people that support them.

..and to all our plants out there, you'll always be our babies!
